Ash brings over 10 years of experience in microbiology and pathogen research, with a specialized focus on high consequence pathogens. Previously a group leader and senior researcher at leading institutions, Ash has published extensively across the spectrum of pathogens.

With a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of London and experience working across academia, public health, and government, Ash combines deep domain expertise with cutting-edge AI knowledge to ensure robust evaluation of biological risks in language and AI models.
